Ellen Sinopoli & Friends

The Egg's resident choreographer, "Ellen Sinopoli":http://sinopolidances.org, and her versatile dance company join forces with other creative area choreographers to expand the possibilities of modern dance in small spaces.

This performance marks one of the rare occasions in which the dancers of the company have had the opportunity to work with other choreographers as well Artistic Director Ellen Sinopoli. Guest choreographers include Hélène Lesterlin, Artistic Director of Atlas Dance as well as current and former Sinopoli company dancers, Laura Teeter and Laura Spaziani respectively. Ellen Sinopoli is creating new works specifically for the unusual stage in The Egg’s Swyer Theatre inspired by the string trio recording “Appalachia Waltz” by Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer and Mark O’Connor.
