Jimi & Mr. B - New York: The State of the Arts (For School Groups)

The multi-media theatrical experience utilizes live music, dance, and historic video footage as it follows Jimi, a middle school student and aspiring guitarist/composer; Isa, his girlfriend and hopeful dancer, and the magical Mr. B. as they create their own original show while discovering why New York is known around the world as "The State of the Arts". The performance was created specifically for the stage at The Egg to dramatize New York State’s stature as the performing arts capital of the world, and to underscore the importance that the arts play in the history of New York. The work was written by acclaimed playwright David Gonzalez.
