Sleeping Beauty (for school groups)

Monday, April 19, 10:15 AM

In a tiny and magical fairy kingdom beneath the roots of a great tree, a cast of fourteen dancers bring to life the magical story of Princess Aurora, bewitched by the evil Carabosse and placed along with her kingdom into a deep and protective sleep by the benevolent Lilac Fairy, to be awakened only by her noble Prince whose kiss breaks the spell. From the arrival of the baby Princess Aurora to the glorious wedding celebration with her Prince, attended by fanciful storybook characters, New York Theatre Ballet demonstrates once again why they are America’s foremost ballet company for young people.

Best for: Pre K – Grade 4
