Join us for a FREE eclipse afterparty at The Egg! Featuring films, live performances, DJs, visual projections and more. With sci-fi movies in one theatre and immersive, atmospheric music in the other, come spend an evening in our one-of-a-kind, concrete ellipsoid venue.

Enjoy popcorn and half moon cookies galore at our concessions stand! Doors open at 4PM, music and movies begin at 5PM. We encourage attendees to explore the space and flow between zones, experiencing world-renowned and local artists side by side.

Attendees will need a free ticket to enter – please get yours HERE. When checking out, there will be a chance to select an optional donation. While this is not required, every penny helps support more free programming at The Egg.

Albany Center Gallery, Tony Iadicicco, Jade Warrick aka TrashKiD Art will be creating mini space creatures and encouraging guests to create their own and interact with them in the Hart Lobby.

Hudson-Valley based projection artist B.A. Miale will also fill The Egg with a stunning psychedelic light show.

Julianna Barwick


Julianna Barwick is a Los Angeles based composer, vocalist, and producer who makes deep, reflective compositions rooted in the human voice. Over the years she has made six critically acclaimed records. Julianna has played shows with Yoko Ono, The Flaming Lips, Philip Glass, Tim Hecker, Grouper, Angel Olsen, Perfume Genius and more. 


Ami Dang


Amrita “Ami” Kaur Dang is a South Asian-American vocalist, sitarist, composer and producer from Baltimore. Her sound blends elements of North Indian classical, noise/ambient electronics, beat-driven psych and experimental dance pop.

b e i n g – s o u n d  is rooted in the origins of ritual experience, weaving a variety of sound sources (live, recorded, acoustic, electronic) and exploring the depths of bass sound as a full-body feeling. The minimal aesthetic brings awareness to the experience of sound as being: being as sound and silence, stillness and movement. Visuals by Alex Allaux, a mixed-media visual artist based in and out of New York City. 


Connor Armbruster

 
Armbruster is a Troy-based electric violinist, fiddle player, and composer who is behind a multifaceted body of work exploring performance art, theatre, field recording, and dance.

DJ HARLAN


DJ HARLAN is a long time record collector and DJ currently based out of the Hudson Valley. He specializes in curating an all analog of music pulled from a wide spectrum of genres. Expect deep cuts back to back with old favorites for an algorithm free listening experience.


B.A. Miale


B.A. Miale is a prolific and psychedelic video creator and live projection artist. Inspired by the music and the majestic natural elements that surround her home in the Hudson Valley, B.A. has performed over 600 live-mixed visual sets for over 100 artists. Her unique and immersive projection installations have captivated crowds at Art Spaces like Opus 40, Knockdown Center, BSP Kingston, Garner Arts Center and a residency at the Old Dutch Church in Kingston.
