Special performance by the World Famous Qawwal: Amjad Sabri (Son of Ghulam Fareed Sabri). Qawwali is the sufi devotional music introduced to the west by the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The performances are powerful and mesmerizing with the drum's heartbeat-like pulse, powerful vocals, and message of universal love. The Amjad Sabri ensemble is celebrated as one of the most prominent qawwali groups today, the lead vocalist Amjad Sabri is a scion of the legendary Sabri Qawwal family.
